Harvest 2023
We would like to say a big thank you to all our generous families for their wonderful contributions to our Harvest Festival. We are grateful to be able to continue our tradition of supporting local charities; Georgina Brown from St Francis Hospice joined us for our Year 6 led Harvest Festival and shared with the children how important the fresh food is to their poorly clients and families.
Harold Hill foodbank collected the tinned and long life items along with the toiletries; they said this year more people than ever are using their services and they were grateful for all the donations we provided as a school.
"The array of amazing donations will help feed patients, visitors and staff. We are so grateful to have been invited to the harvest assembly. It was so lovely, and the children did a wonderful job. Your support is truly valued." Georgina Brown, Local Engagement Officer

A prayer shared by the Year 6's during the assembly:
Dear God, Thank you for all of the food that you provide for us, we are very thankful. We should remember those who are not as lucky as we are and have no food, drinks, shelter, money or warmth. We should always be grateful for everything that we have because we know that we are honoured to have things. We should try not to waste our resources as some other people are not so fortunate around the world. Amen
