WEAR IT PINK
Friday 20th October

All pupils were invited to WEAR IT PINK !! and bring a £1 donation for a Non Uniform, day
We would like to thank all of you who have generously donated to our wear it pink day in support of breast cancer awareness. Collectively we have raised over £400 which is a fantastic achievement.
Thankyou Miss Slaughter, Mrs Varndell and our wellbeing ambassadors who kindly organised the events held in school this morning for children and parents at the staff/parent coffee morning. We ‘re very proud of them all showing how we live out our school moto ’facta non verba’ through our generosity and kind actions for others.
Breast Cancer Now’s wear it pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of amazing people wear it pink in their communities, schools or work places for the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now.
Brest Cancer Now has been wearing it pink for over 20 years and has now raised over £39 million in the process.
